Why Alaska and Halibut Cove?

  • Glacier fed waters nourish our oysters creating a delicate, flavorful, crisp oyster

  • Tumbled to shape and harden shell

  • Hand sorted and counted for ultimate quality control

“Unlike most Alaskan salmon fisheries where boats may be out to sea for days before their catch makes it to a processor, our local small boat fisherman return to the harbor just hours after the fish are caught. We are able to meet them at the dock and our custom processors are able to fillet and Blast freeze the catch immediately to lock in freshness at it peak flavor.

Wild Alaskan salmon is some of the most sustainable seafood available. Alaskan fisheries are among the most well managed in the world, ensuring responsible harvests of salmon for all our future generations.”

“Synergy Gardens was just a dream that grew into an idea that became a beautiful Farm. This dream was born of many years of farming experience and a desire to grow our experience and knowledge within a progressive and supportive community. Homer Alaska beckoned us from the mountains of North Georgia and we made the leap. We found a thriving farmers market, restaurants hungry for fresh produce and a supportive local foods culture. All we needed was suitable land. So we began.....clearing, fertilizing, bedding, growing and harvesting. We built high-tunnels, stretching our short growing season, expanding our crop variety. And we found willing buyers who raved about the flavor, color and selections.“
